Your adventure commences upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). You will then be transferred to your cozy accommodation in either Moshi or Arusha, based on your preference. After a restful night with breakfast included, your hiking guide will meet you for an informative briefing.

• Begin your hike at Umbwe Gate and make your way to Umbwe Cave Camp.
• Expect the elevation to fluctuate between 1,600 and 2,850 meters.
• Prepare for a journey lasting 5 to 7 hours through the tropical rainforest, navigating narrow and often muddy ridges.

Begin your hike at Umbwe Cave Camp, making your way to Barranco Camp. The elevation will fluctuate between 2,850 and 3,950 meters. Prepare for a steep ascent that will take approximately 4 to 6 hours as you transition from the forest into the heath and moorland zones.

Begin your hike at Barranco Camp, located at an elevation ranging from 3,950 to 4,035 meters. Prepare to spend approximately 4 to 5 hours navigating the impressive Great Barranco Wall, which rises nearly 900 feet.

Start your hike towards Barafu Camp, covering a distance of 4 kilometers. The elevation ranges from 4035 to 4,673 meters, and the journey will take approximately 4 to 5 hours through the stunning Alpine desert.

Begin your journey at midnight to tackle the most challenging segment. Navigate through the rugged scree to reach Stella Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters. Afterward, descend sharply to Mweka Camp for your final night.

The final journey through the rainforest leads to Mweka Gate, where you’ll collect your summit certificate before being driven back to Moshi or Arusha.
