Enjoy quiet, little Karatu. Its busy main street is a window on urban life in a small provincial town, but it’s much quieter just a few blocks away from the main road. Shop, go to the bank or simply walk the streets – all are possible here.

– Transfer by Road, Springlands Hotel to Tarangire National Park
Late Morning to Afternoon

Meal Plan

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

This is where all of your planning becomes a reality: your safari starts now. Tanzania is such a wonderful country when it comes to wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After we greet you and answer any questions you might have, we’ll take great pleasure in taking you out and showing you what we mean.
Discover just why so many safari visitors fall in love with the Serengeti. Keep an eye out for big cats, even bigger elephants, and almost every kind of safari wildlife you can imagine. You might also see giraffe, impala, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, hundreds of species of birds, and that may all just be before breakfast. You’ll never forget watching these animals interact, whether you see a hunt, a vast herd or a mother protecting her cub or calf. The Serengeti’s scenery is also unforgettable – observe Africa’s iconic acacia trees, the park’s golden grasslands and great piles of boulders known as kopjes.

Activities Day 2

Morning
– Transfer by Road, Tarangire National Park via Olduvai Gorge to Serengeti National Park
Late Morning to Afternoon
– Archaeological Visit, Olduvai Gorge

Accommodation Day 2

Ikoma Wild Camp

Bordering Serengeti National Park without fences
You’ll be staying at Ikoma Wild Camp while you’re in Serengeti National Park. It’s a good place to return to at the end of your safari day.

Meal Plan

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

You’re going to be exploring the extraordinary heart of the Serengeti. Here in the Central Serengeti is where wildlife populations are largest, and it’s especially good for seeing all three big cats. It’s here also that you get to experience the classic savannah grasslands and acacia trees that are the signature landscapes of the East African safari.

Activities Day 3

All Day
– Full Day Game drive, Serengeti National Park

Accommodation Day 3

Serengeti Wild Camp

Inside Central Serengeti National Park
It’s easy to fall in love with the location at Serengeti Wild Camp. You’re in one of the best wildlife areas of the park, but a little removed from the main trails, so you’re not sharing each wildlife sighting with too many other vehicles. The large safari tents are perfect for listening to wild animal sounds, but feeling safe at the same time.

Meal Plan

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Pass some more time in Karatu, one of the more interesting towns in these parts
